Provides a simple logging mechanism for GNU inetlib and providers. It is not possible to use the java.logging API as this doesn't exist prior to Java 1.4.

Method Details

config

public void config(String message)
Logs a configuration message. This is used by the inetlib implementation itself.

Parameters:
message - the message


error

public void error(String protocol,
                  Throwable t)
Logs an error.

Parameters:
protocol - the provider protocol


getInstance

public static Logger getInstance()
Returns the singleton instance of this class.


log

public void log(String protocol,
                String message)
Logs a provider-specific debugging message.

Parameters:
protocol - the provider protocol
message - the message


setInstance

public static void setInstance(Logger logger)
Sets the singleton instance of this class.

Parameters:
logger - the new logger to use
